Founder and Managing Attorney
The Clark Law Office, LLC
Nicole Clark is the founder and managing attorney of The Clark Law Office, LLC, established in 2018 in Prattville, Alabama. Her practice is devoted exclusively to family law, with a focus on divorce, child custody, and juvenile matters. With nearly a decade of experience in the courtroom, Nicole brings both legal skill and deeply personal insight to every case she handles.
Nicole earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Auburn University in 2011. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Birmingham School of Law in 2016 and was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in October of that year. She began her legal career with Richard Dean, handling bankruptcy and collections cases, and soon transitioned to family law while working with Bradley Hawley, where she concentrated on juvenile, divorce, and custody cases. Nicole has also represented defendants in misdemeanor criminal cases in Prattville Municipal Court.
Her passion for family law is rooted in her own childhood experience growing up within the court system. Having lived through her parents’ divorce at age two and ongoing litigation throughout her youth, Nicole has a unique understanding of the emotional toll custody battles can take on children. That experience fuels her mission to help families resolve conflict with fairness and compassion—while always prioritizing the well-being of the children involved.
In 2023 and 2024, Nicole was a candidate for Circuit Judge for the 19th Judicial Circuit’s newly created Place 4 seat, campaigning on a platform of fairness, equality, and reform in family law. She remains actively involved in custody reform and collaborates closely with lawmakers to improve outcomes for families across Alabama.
Nicole is an active member of the Family Law Section of the Alabama State Bar, where she remains engaged in ongoing legal education and advocacy for families across the state. She was honored nationally by the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys with the Top 10 Under 40 award in both 2019 and 2021, recognizing her outstanding commitment and results in family law practice.
Locally, Nicole was recognized by the Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce as one of the Top 20 Under 40, celebrating her professional accomplishments and leadership within the community.
She is also a proud member of the Prattville Rotary Club, where she currently serves as Club Secretary for the 2024–2025 and 2025–2026 terms, and previously served on the Autauga County Republican Executive Committee (2018–2024) in multiple leadership roles, including Financial Director and member of the Events and Vetting Committees.
Nicole and her family have been active members of Centerpoint Fellowship Church since 2015, where she has served in the children’s ministry and as a team lead for the new mothers’ branch of the Caring Circle.
When she’s not in the courtroom, Nicole enjoys spending time with her husband and children, volunteering in the community, and continuing her advocacy for families across Alabama.
